Warmly greeted by our local guide and driver on your arrival at Ishigaki port, then head to the beautiful Kabira Bay – one of the best tourist attractions of Ishigakijima Island. Ishigaki offers good snorkeling surrounding coral reefs. Let the guide show you around, take you to the best reefs in the area and instruct you how to use the equipment and how to snorkel responsibly so that you do not damage the reefs. Free to delve into the brightly colored fish, coral gardens and vibrant aquatic life of Kabira Bay. Hop aboard on the clear glass-bottom boat to admire the many fish, unique marine wildlife and colorful coral living under the famous turquoise waters of Kabira Bay. Over 250 types of coral form a vibrant underwater garden in the bay. Leisurely enjoy the world under the sea with a 30-minute boat ride.

Kick off your discovery among the quirky, colorful creations of Yoneko-yaki Pottery studio where you’ll learn how the artisans create their psychedelic Shisa figurines. These odd monsters with bulging eyes and wide-open mouths are known to bring safety to the houses in which they live. Step out for a walk through the garden of uniquely Shisa statues of varying sizes arranged in a picturesque manner around some ponds and hills where jackfruit orchards surround you.

Complete the trip with a visit to Ishigaki Island Stalactite Cave – a beautiful limestone cave carved by both the surface and underground waters. Follow your guide on the pathway leading through the cave where you can see the phenomenal beauty of the stalactites and stalagmites have formed millions of years create a fantastic space.
