Upon arrival at Kagoshima port, our local guide will welcome you and we transfer to the first place at Chiran that is a tiny town in the south of Kyushu Island. Samurai district has been well preserved, famous for 250-year-old ancient houses and gardens. You will have a chance to enjoy the scenic landscape and learn about Japanese samurai as well as their historical legend.

Take a visit Samurai Residences of Shimizu Clan, we then take a free stroll along the street covered with stone walls and green hedges for enjoying the stunning view and historical atmosphere. We will listen to the legends of Samurai's loyalty, courage, and power by endless stories.

Then, head to the Chiran Peace Museum for discovering Kamikaze Pilots built on the Imperial Japanese Army airbase to commemorate the kamikaze pilot deaths and raise patriotism as well. The museum has up to 4000 photos, final letters and article of these pilots, which you can see and learn about the original and intact aircraft of World War II and even Mitsubishi Zero. We can also see stone lanterns and pilots’ statues outside the museum. Take a scenic view over Kagoshima in Shiroyama Observatory before back to the port. The trip now ends.
