Full Itinerary
Wake up in the morning and start your wonderful day to Shizuoka. Welcomed by your driver and guide, then head to Fujisan Hongu Sengen-taisha Shrine. This grand religious site has the age of over 1000 years experiencing the ups and downs of the region. With the featured Sengen architecture style, the shrine attracts visitors coming to admire its beauty through remained tower gate, outer and inner shrine.
The next spot of the trip is Shiraito Falls. This magnificent natural site is the combination of beautiful waterfalls, green forest surroundings, and high blue sky above all. Especially, the waterfalls are spring water caused by lava from Mount Fuji’s eruptions. Gazed at this spellbinding scenery when witnessing the panoramic view on a stable bridge facing the falls.
Continue on to Miho no Matsubara beach where provides one of the best views over Mt Fuji, especially on clear days. Lined up with thousands of pine trees, this black-sand beach has a dark but unique vibe along with white waves and deep blue sea far away. The scenery is even more breathtaking with Mount Fuji standing behind. Enjoy your free time walking along the beach, listen to the wind blowing, and admire one of the most beautiful natural sights in Japan. Finally, your driver transfers you back to port. Trip ends with a warm goodbye from your guide.

Such an amazing tour!

This was one of the best cultural tours I’ve taken in Japan. I loved learning about Japanese folk religion, and the shrine visit was very meaningful. The bus was comfortable, and there were enough breaks along the way. Highly recommended!

The natural beauty of Shizuoka was outstanding. Shiraito Falls was my favorite – the fresh air and the sound of the water made it a calming stop. The guide was very patient and informative, which made it easy for someone like me in my 70s to enjoy.
