Are Coral Princess shore excursions available as shared tours?

Yes. Shared shore excursions are available for travelers who want to explore with a small group while keeping the cost more affordable than a private tour. These tours offer a comfortable balance between organized sightseeing and a more personal experience.

Yes. Tour timing is planned around the ship's scheduled arrival and departure. Pickup, sightseeing, meal stops, and the return journey are arranged to make good use of your available time while allowing a reasonable buffer before the ship departs.

Your guide and driver will meet you at the designated pickup point near the cruise port. Detailed meeting instructions are provided before the tour, including where to go after disembarking and how to identify your guide.

Absolutely. Shared tours are particularly suitable for solo travelers who would like to explore independently from the cruise ship while meeting other travelers along the way. You can join the group without needing to book a private vehicle or guide.

Cruise schedules can change because of weather, port conditions, or operational requirements. Japan Shore Excursions Team monitors the cruise schedule and coordinates the excursion accordingly. If a significant change affects the tour, the pickup time or itinerary can be adjusted when possible.

Booking in advance is recommended, particularly for popular sailing dates and destinations with limited tour availability. Early reservations give you more choice of itineraries and allow the local team to prepare transportation and port pickup arrangements.

Many excursions are suitable for older travelers, but walking distances and activity levels vary. When choosing a tour, check the itinerary details carefully and let us know about any mobility requirements so we can help you select a suitable experience.

We would deeply regret your decision to cancel your shore excursions; however we realize that there are many valid reasons that this can happen. In the event of cancellation we will refund any payment made to Shore Excursions Asia (less any cancellation fee that is applicable) within 14 days of our receipt of your written cancellation request.

The cancellation fee will be calculated as follows:

  • More than 40 days prior to trip departure: 10% of the deposit paid is non-refundable. This will be saved for your next trip with us. The rest of the deposit paid will be refunded (bank fee levied by your end)
  • 40 – 30 days prior to trip departure: 35% charged of the deposit paid
  • 29 – 15 days: 50% charged of the deposit paid
  • 14 – 10 day: 75% charged of total amount
  • Less than 10 days or No show: 100% charged of total amount

After the trip has commenced, we are unable to refund any amount for unused services due to your willingness, early departure, late arrival, or missed days on tours.
