Welcomed by your local guide and driver at the Miyazaki port and then transfer to Obi Castle Ruins and the Town. Here you can feel like stepping back in the old days as the town offers ancient marks left all over the place. Strolling around the town, you will feel the idyllic and solemnity of the castle with elegant architectures and the stone walls covering with moss. Also, you can pay a visit to a historic museum and samurai houses to learn more about the ancient cultures of this town.
Then, head to Aoshima Island via Nichinan coastline. Aoshima Shrine, standing our for the red color, is a magnificent shrine among tropical shrubs and trees where visitors come to wish for luck. Along the way to the shrine, you can find various stalls that sell specialties like mango ice cream, pork rice ball, and souvenirs. More interestingly, during the low tide in the afternoon, you can walk down to see the devil’s washboard up close and the view is wonderful.
Last but not least, you will stop at the Michinoeki Phoenix to catch the spectacular view down to the Pacific Ocean from its observation deck. Spend some time wandering the large nearby market to buy some souvenirs for your beloveds. Trip ends when your driver transfers you back to the port.
