What stood out to me was the perfect pacing of the day. not rushed, not slow. Just right. Hirosaki Castle was lovely, especially with the leaves just beginning to turn. The Sannai Maruyama site was a real gem. I’m a history buff, so seeing those ancient dwellings and artifacts was fascinating. Hats off to our guide, who kept everyone engaged without ever over-talking.
