Todaiji Temple (Great Buddha - Daibutsuden)

Your journey begins in Nara at Todaiji Temple, one of Japan’s most important and impressive Buddhist temples. The massive Daibutsuden Hall houses the Great Buddha, a colossal bronze statue that stands as one of the largest Buddha statues in the world.
