My friend and I used Shore Excursions Asia for a 12 night cruise around Japan and they helped us with every port. We worked with Felix Tran and from the start he could not have been more helpful. He patiently answered all of my many emails and helped create a terrific itinerary in each city. Each day, they met us at the port and took us to each venue and returned us well in time for our ship departure - always on time.
The guides were knowledgeable and shared "their Japan" along with details about each place we visited. The cars/vans were clean and comfortable, and drivers were exceptional - polite and safe.
JSE truly made our visit to Japan very memorable. We saw so much more than the ship tours and in a more personal way. A couple of people on the ship noticed we seemed to be everywhere, so I happily gave them this company info. Thank you Felix and team!

This was one of those days you don’t forget. I loved how our guide made space for conversation, not just information. We weren’t just watching Osaka, we were part of it. We chatted with locals at a street vendor, tasted warm takoyaki, and admired the skyline from the river.
I want to thank the team for how they made everything feel effortless. It takes real behind-the-scenes care to make a day feel this relaxed. Osaka felt welcoming, colorful, and soulful and this tour showed us exactly why.

We used this company for excursions off our cruise n Japan. It was the only company I found that was willing to pick us up and drop us off at the pier. We are a family of 8 ranging it in age from 7-77. I worked with Felix online. He tailored 4 tours at 4 ports, to my requests, sometimes making excellent suggestions. Felix was always timely in his responses, flexible when I made a last minute change, and an excellent communicator. It was a pleasure dealing with him.
As to the tour guides themselves, 2 out of 4 were excellent, one was good, and one was not. I thought 75% was a good success rate. Better than other companies we have used.
All four buses were clean, comfortable and spacious. The air conditioned buses were greatly appreciated in the heat of Japan in August. The drivers were all good.
I would definitely recommend using this company for shore excursions.
